The room fell silent. It reminded me of a court hearing I sat in on once, where a mother of three was sentenced to death. Yet this time, there was no heavy-hanging sense of sadness; nor was there any concern for the fate of the innocent; rather a thick scent of anticipation hung in the air. My classmates grinned arrogantly like sharks smelling blood. Reading the teacher’s shocked expression as a chance to have me forcibly removed once and for all.
